FINDING A THERAPIST

Finding a therapist can be daunting task. It is also an investment of time and money, so finding a good fit is important. To help facilitate the process, I offer an approximate 45 minute phone consultation. This allows the chance for me to better understand the types of things you are looking to address in therapy, assess logistical considerations, and allow the chance for you to ask any questions of me. It is also a way to help ensure you feel comfortable in previewing the therapy experience with me. Following the consultation, we will discuss next steps based on whether we decide to move forward.

Intake Paperwork
Prior to our first scheduled session, please print and complete the 
following forms and bring them with you to your initial session. These forms 
need to be signed and initialed in all indicated areas before getting started.

Working Together
I currently conduct sessions primarily via a secure telehealth platform. Research has shown that this is just as effective as in-person for the client population I work with. I am also offering limited office hours in Northern Virginia. Should we determine we are a fit, we can discuss whether this might be an option that makes sense for you.
